Clouds play a vital role in gardens as they provide much-needed moisture through precipitation, which is essential for plant growth and overall garden health. Specifically, clouds help regulate the temperature of the surrounding environment by blocking out excessive sunlight and preventing plants from wilting or drying out during hot weather conditions.
Additionally, clouds can also act as insulating blankets during cold spells, protecting delicate plants from frost damage. Furthermore, certain types of clouds like cumulus and stratocumulus can offer shade to sensitive plants that require protection from intense sunlight. Overall, clouds are not only aesthetically pleasing elements in gardens but also serve a practical purpose by contributing to the overall well-being and sustainability of garden ecosystems.
Since we can’t have gardens without clouds, we had to include cloud images. Most were taken in Candia; I think one or two were taken in Auburn.
